Sultan Hasanuddin is one of the ophthalmologists at JEC Eye Hospitals and Clinics. He graduated with his medical degree from Hasanuddin University in 2014 and completed his ophthalmology residency at the same institution in 2021. He also completed a one-year clinical fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Jakarta Eye Center. His special interests are in corneal transplants and refractive surgery.

He is also active as a teaching staff member in the Cataract & Refractive Surgery division of the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University.
Currently, Sultan Hasanuddin is a member of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI), the Indonesian Ophthalmology Association (IOA), and the Indonesian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (INASCRS).
